<br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br /> <br />401. GENERAL <br /> <br />Work to be done under this section consists of furnishing all labor, <br />materials, equipment accessories and performing all operations to complete <br />the project work in accordance with the drawings and specifications. <br /> <br />The following "Special Conditions" shall govern in case of any discrepancies <br />in any or all of the following specifications, 2nd the intent, either <br />expressed or implied in these "special Ccnditions" shall govern in the <br />interpretation of the plans and specification. <br /> <br />The Contractor is required to examine carefully the site of the proposed <br />work, the Proposal, Plans and Specifications. He shall satisfy himself as <br />to the character, quality, and quantit'ies of work to be performed, materials <br />to be furnished, and as to the requirements of these specifications. <br /> <br />402. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />All the work done under this contract shall be constructed in accordance <br />with the requirements of these specifications. All requirements and <br />recommendations of the Army Corps of Enqineers Permit No. CO 2SB OXT 2 <br />009158 (404 Permit attached herein) anc of the Colorado Department of Health <br />Certificate No. 1787 shall be followed. <br /> <br />403. DESCRIPTION OF WORK <br /> <br />Work under this contract shall consist of the following: Regrading <br />approximately 400 feet of Goldsmith Gulch; t"egrading approximately 740 feet <br />of a tributary to Goldsmith Gulch; construct a silt trap structUt"e; placing <br />riprap erosion protection, seeding disturbed areas. <br /> <br />404. DRAWINGS <br /> <br />The drawings governing and controlling the work, and to which reference is <br />made throughout the specifications, are those prepared by Greenhorne & <br />O'Mara, Inc., 3131 South Vaughn ,lay, Suite 228, Aurora, Colorado 80014, <br />Telephone (303) 755-9000. <br /> <br />405. ACQUISITION OF LAND, RIGHTS-OF-WAY AND EASE~~:NTS <br /> <br />All necessary land, rights-of-way, permanent easements, temporary construction <br />easements have been, or are expected to be acquired by or made available to <br />and for the benefit of the Owner. <br /> <br />406. CONSTRUCTION STAKING <br /> <br />The Engineer-Owner shall provide reference points sufficient in number to <br />enable Contractor to layout the work (see ~lans). <br /> <br />Contractor shall be responsible for replacement. or relocation of any reference <br /> <br />SC-1 <br />
