III-B. and 30-28-133). <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />designate critical areas <br />hundred-year floodplains <br />and shall aid governments <br />make such identifications; <br /> <br />in the State where <br />should be identified. <br />with juriSdiction to <br /> <br />o designate critical conservation and recreation <br />areas. and recommend Sta te involvement in land <br />use in such areas (24-65-105) <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />develop model regulations for the <br />governments for use in control of land <br />construction in the floodways (24-65-105). <br /> <br />local <br />use and <br /> <br />None needed for this text <br /> <br />The statute creatE!d the Colorado Land Use Commission <br />(24-65-103). <br /> <br />The Commission staff is assigned. within available <br />appropriations. to assist counties and municipalities <br />in Areas and Activities of State Interest Program <br />(24-65-106. enacted 1974; see topic of same name. <br />I-D). and to provide other assistance as possible. <br />The Commission also performs some review functions. <br />under the Areas and Activities of State Interest <br />Program. <br /> <br />A number of <br />required. in the <br />establishment. <br /> <br />reports to the legislature were <br />time shortly after the Commission's <br /> <br />Financing is provided by the legislature. <br /> <br />None specified; however. <br />commission's authority <br />described above. cease <br />issued only with the <br />(24-65-104). although <br />unilaterally to request <br />government (24-65-104). <br /> <br />there are limits on the <br />to act unilaterally.
