<br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />(7) A list of alternative uses for the wildfire hazard area <br />under consideration. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />(8) All maps and reports prepared under this Regulation shall <br />be prepared by or under the direction of and signed by a <br />professional forester. Such maps and reports will be <br />accompanied by documents which attest to graduation of <br />the forester from an accredited College of Forestry and <br />verify a minimum of two years of fire suppression experi- <br />ence in the Rocky Mountain area. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />4-404 Waiver of Submission Requirements <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />(1) The permit authority may waive any part but not all of the <br />submission requirements imposed by this regulation upon <br />petition of the applicant that full compliance with the <br />submission requirements would be unreasonably burdensome <br />for the applicant and that the proposed development will <br />have an insubstantial impact on the surrounding area. <br />Such a waiver may be granted, after due consideration by <br />the permit author~ty, upon a written determination that <br />the information to be submitted is sufficient for the per- <br />mit authority to arrive at a permit decision in full com- <br />pliance with the law and these regulations and that the <br />proposed development will have an insubstantial impact on <br />the surrounding area. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />(2) The petition shall be considered and the decision rendered <br />by the permit authority at a public hearing held in com- <br />pliance with the provisions of Section 403 of the Adminis- <br />trative Regulations adopted by this jurisdiction. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />, <br />4-405 Approval of Permit Application <br /> <br />The permit authority shall approve an application for a permit <br />to engage in development in a wildfire hazard area only if the appli- <br />cation complies with all of the following requirements and criteria: <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />(1) The applicant has submitted all information required by <br />Section 4-403 of these regulations, unless waived pursuant <br />to 4-404; <br /> <br />(2) The development will not violate any of the applicable <br />prohibitions, restrictions, or design standards set out in <br />Article 2 of these regulations; <br /> <br />(3) The development will not otherwise violate the purposes and <br />intent of these regulations; <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />(4) Any development in which residential activity is to take <br />place will be designed so as to minimize significant hazards <br /> <br />-12- <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />
