<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />the permit application, including all hearings conducted therefore. <br /> <br />4-403 <br /> <br />Applicant's Submission Requirements <br /> <br />An application for a permit to develop in a wildfire hazard <br />area shall be accompanied by four (4) copies of the following docu- <br />ments and information: <br /> <br />(1) Completed application form. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />(2) A map or maps showing location, nature and density of the <br />proposed development or land use change. Such maps shall <br />be on a scale sufficiently detailed to meet the objectives <br />of this Regulation but, in no case, shall be less detailed <br />than 1 inch = 500 feet. The applicant shall also explain <br />in narrative, pictorial, or graphic form, the nature, den- <br />sity, and intensity of the proposed development or land <br />use change proposed. <br /> <br />(3) A map or maps portraying the existing wildfire conditions <br />of the area with particular attention given to the Desig- <br />nated Hazard conditions and the slope, aspect, topographic <br />and vegetation (living and dead) conditions. Such maps <br />shall be on a scale sufficiently detailed to meet the ob- <br />jectives of this Regulation but, in no case, less detailed <br />than 1 inch = 500 feet. Such maps shall be signed by the <br />professional forester preparing them. <br /> <br />(4) A map or maps and associated narrative showing: <br /> <br />(a) The procedures proposed to reduce conditions of <br />wildfire hazard; <br /> <br />(b) The fire protection plan for the proposed use; and <br /> <br />(c) All fire suppression facilities which are necessary <br />to meet the objectives of this regulation. The <br />above maps may be produced in the form of overlays <br />to be used in conjunction with the wildfire condi- <br />tion maps required in Section 403(1). <br /> <br />(5) A wildfire hazard report explaining the wildfire conditions <br />and mitigating procedures shown on the above maps. This <br />report shall also provide an analysis of climatic conditions <br />which may affect the intensity of the hazard or the season <br />of hazard existence, including the dominant wind patterns <br />during the fire season. Potential ignition sources on or <br />adjacent to the area must be identified and analyzed. <br /> <br />(6) Other information required by the permit authority. <br /> <br />-11- <br />
