Commission, and Guidelines and Criteria for Wildfire Hazard Areas
promulgated by the Colorado State Forest Service, it is the order
of this body that the wildfire hazard areas described in ~4-303
below are designated as areas of state interest and that the wild-
fire hazard areas described in 84-303 below are subject to these
regulations hereby adopted by this jurisdiction.

Descriptions of Designated or Regulated Wildfire Hazard
Areas

This jurisdiction hereby declares that the following areas
shall be designated as wildfire hazard areas in order to meet the
purposes and intent of these regulations.

(1) The wildfire hazard initial control area(s) shown on the
following described map(s) were designated or subjected
to regulation on

(2) The low hazard area shown on the following described map(s)
was designated or subjected to regulation on

4-304 Reasons for Designation

The wildfire hazard areas described in S4-303 are hereby desig-
nated as matters of state interest for the reasons stated in 84-101
of this Chapter.

Applications and Permits

4-401 Procedural Requirements

(1) The procedures concerning permit applications, hearings,
review of permit applications, review of permit authority
decisions and issuance of permits set forth in Article 4
of the Administrative Regulations adopted by this juris-
diction shall be followed if the wildfire hazard area was
designated pursuant to 8824-65.1-101, et seq., C.R.S. 1973.

(2) If the area was regulated under H.B. 1034 (1974), gS29-
20-101, et seq., C.R.S. 1973, the procedures set forth in
other regulations shall control.

4-402 Application Fee

I

Any application for a permit to engage in development in a
designated wildfire hazard area shall be accompanied by nonrefundable
certified funds in the amount of not more than ten (10) percent of
the total cost of the development but should not exceed the amount
necessary to cover the costs incurred in the review and approval of
