<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />(c) have a recommendation for approval of necessary <br />modifications from the Colorado State Forest Service. <br /> <br />4-206 <br /> <br />Severe Brush Hazard Area <br /> <br />(1) The provisions of this Section 4-206 apply to each severe <br />brush hazard area shown on the map or maps listed in <br />Article 3 of this Chapter 4. <br /> <br />(2) All uses intended or designed principally for, or that <br />allow for the occupation, habitation or congregation of <br />people shall be prohibited from a severe brush hazard area. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />(3) All roadways intended or designed principally for, or <br />that allow for public vehicular, pedestrian or equestrian <br />traffic shall: <br /> <br />(a) be permitted only in severe brush hazard areas which <br />have been modified to prevent the stoppage or entrap- <br />ment of the roadway users and ensure the safety of <br />persons and property using the roadway from wildfire <br />and reduce the wildfire danger to surrounding areas <br />by appropriate fuel modifications along the side of <br />the roadway to a distance recommended by the Colorado <br />State Forest Service. <br /> <br />(b) have any modifications prescribed and any subsequent <br />work supervised by a graduate forester with at least <br />two years' fire experience in the Rocky Mountain area. <br /> <br />(c) have a recommendation for approval of necessary modi- <br />fications from the Colorado State Forest Service. <br /> <br />Article 3. <br /> <br />Specific Wildfire Hazard Areas in this <br /> <br />Jurisdiction Subject to Regulation <br /> <br />4-301 <br /> <br />All Areas Designated or Regulated Must Be Listed <br /> <br />All areas within this jurisdiction that are subject to regu- <br />lation or designation under this Chapter are listed and described <br />in 84-303. Any and all areas not listed have not been designated <br />or regulated under this Chapter. <br /> <br />4-302 <br /> <br />Designation or Regulation of Wildfire Hazard Areas <br /> <br />This body having considered the intensity of current and fore- <br />seeable development pressures, applicable Guidelines for Identifi- <br />cation and Designation adopted and issued by the Colorado Land Use <br /> <br />-9- <br />
