I I I I I I (c) have a recommendation for approval of necessary modifications from the Colorado State Forest Service. 4-206 Severe Brush Hazard Area (1) The provisions of this Section 4-206 apply to each severe brush hazard area shown on the map or maps listed in Article 3 of this Chapter 4. (2) All uses intended or designed principally for, or that allow for the occupation, habitation or congregation of people shall be prohibited from a severe brush hazard area. I I I I I I I I I I I I I (3) All roadways intended or designed principally for, or that allow for public vehicular, pedestrian or equestrian traffic shall: (a) be permitted only in severe brush hazard areas which have been modified to prevent the stoppage or entrap- ment of the roadway users and ensure the safety of persons and property using the roadway from wildfire and reduce the wildfire danger to surrounding areas by appropriate fuel modifications along the side of the roadway to a distance recommended by the Colorado State Forest Service. (b) have any modifications prescribed and any subsequent work supervised by a graduate forester with at least two years' fire experience in the Rocky Mountain area. (c) have a recommendation for approval of necessary modi- fications from the Colorado State Forest Service. Article 3. Specific Wildfire Hazard Areas in this Jurisdiction Subject to Regulation 4-301 All Areas Designated or Regulated Must Be Listed All areas within this jurisdiction that are subject to regu- lation or designation under this Chapter are listed and described in 84-303. Any and all areas not listed have not been designated or regulated under this Chapter. 4-302 Designation or Regulation of Wildfire Hazard Areas This body having considered the intensity of current and fore- seeable development pressures, applicable Guidelines for Identifi- cation and Designation adopted and issued by the Colorado Land Use -9-
