<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />such structure shall be deemed a new use and shall be <br />subject to the provisions of these regulations. <br /> <br />4-106 Relationship to Other Requirements <br /> <br />(1) Nothing in these regulations shall be construed as exempting <br />an applicant for a permit from any other requirements of <br />this jurisdiction or other state or federal laws and <br />regulations. <br /> <br />(2) To the extent that the requirements of these regulations <br />differ from any other applicable requirements, the more <br />restrictive requirements shall apply. <br /> <br />Article 2. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Regulations for Wildfire Hazard Areas <br /> <br />4-201 provisions Common to All Types of Wildfire Hazard Areas <br /> <br />(1) The provisions of this Section 4-201 apply to each hazard <br />area shown on the map or maps listed in Article 3 of this <br />Chapter 4. <br /> <br />(2) No person shall engage in any development in any hazard area <br />without a permit. <br /> <br />(3) All new development, new construction, substantial improve- <br />ment, use, fill, encroachments, alteration, fuel modification <br />or treatment on or over any portion of a wildfire hazard <br />area shall be designed to: <br /> <br />, <br />(a) prohibit building any structures on slopes of 30% or <br />greater; <br /> <br />(b) prohibit building any structure within a fire chimney; <br /> <br />(c) not constitute a probable source of fire ignition; <br /> <br />(d) not increase the potential intensity or duration of a <br />wildfire or adversely affect wildfire behavior or <br />fuel conditions so as to cause foreseeable damage to <br />others wherever located; <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />(e) not cause soil erosion or adverse impacts on wildlife <br />and existing vegetation beyond a specified level <br />necessary to accomplish modifications required by <br />these regulations or recommended by the Colorado State <br />Forest Service; <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />(f) not violate existing federal and state water quality <br />and air quality standards; <br /> <br />-5- <br />
