<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />(f) A seismic effect area, in which case further processing <br />of the application shall be governed by section 3-403(1), <br />3-403 (2) (f), and 3-404, below. <br /> <br />(g) An area of radioactivity, in which case further pro- <br />cessing of the application shall be governed by section <br />3-403 (1), 3-403 (2) (g), and 3-404, below. <br /> <br />(h) A ground subsidence area, in which case further pro- <br />cessing of the application shall be governed by section <br />3-403 (1), 3-403 (2) (h), and 3-404, below. <br /> <br />(i) None of the above, in which case none of the provisions <br />of this chapter shall have any further force or effect <br />with respect to the permit application which prompted <br />such study and determination. <br /> <br />3-203 <br /> <br />Allowable Uses <br /> <br />The following uses shall be permitted within designated geologic <br />hazard areas upon the issuance of a valid permit, to the extent that <br />they are not prohibited in a particular area by any zoning ordinance <br />or other regulation of this jurisdiction: <br /> <br />(1) Agricultural uses such as general farming, grazing, truck <br />farming, forestry, sod farming and wild crop harvesting; <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />(2) Industrial-commercial uses such as loading areas, parking <br />areas not requiring extensive grading or impervious paving, <br />and storage yards for equipment or machinery easily moved <br />or not subject to geologic hazard damage; <br /> <br />(3) Public and private recreatio~al uses such as parks, natural <br />swimming areas, golf courses, driving ranges, picnic grounds, <br />wildlife and nature preserves, game farms, shooting pre- <br />serves, target ranges, trap and skeet ranges and hunting, <br />fishing, skiing and hiking areas if such uses do not cause <br />concentrations of people in areas during periods of high <br />hazard probability nor require permanent structures designed <br />for human habitation. <br /> <br />3-204 Prohibited Uses <br /> <br />The followin<J land uses are prohibited unless mitigation tech- <br />niques are carried out pursuant to section 3-205, below: <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />(1) Land uses which are dangerous to life or property In desig- <br />nated areas of geologic hazard; <br /> <br />(2) Permanent structures designed for human habitation or causing <br />concentrations of people in designated geologic hazard areas <br /> <br />-6- <br />
