<br />1991, (not designated for unincorporated portions of Arapahoe <br />County); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested <br />by the City of Greenwood Village, designated and approved said <br />Flood Insurance Study dated March 4, 1991 by Resolution No. 93-345 <br />on March 5, 1993, for the portion within the corporate limits of <br />the City of Greenwood Village only; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a new report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, <br />Arapahoe County, Colorado and Incorporated Areas, Volumes 1-3" <br />revised December 3, 1993, has been prepared by the Federal <br />Emergency Management Agency; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the following floodplains, for which detailed <br />information is included in said new report, have previously been <br />designated and approved by the colorado Water Conservation Board by <br />the following Resolutions listed in Table 1 below: <br /> <br />TABLE 1 <br /> <br />Detailed Information in FIS Which <br />Has Been Revised bv LMMP in 1993 FIS <br /> <br />stream Reach <br /> <br />Previous Desiqnation <br /> <br />Big Dry Creek from its confluence <br />with Tributary B of Big Dry cre~k <br />upstream to a point approximatelY <br />500 feet upstream of Colorado B.lvd. <br /> <br />Piney Creek from its crossing with Parker <br />Road upstream approximately 2.0 miles <br /> <br />Goldsmith Gulch from the crossing of South <br />Dayton Street upstream to a point approxi- <br />mately 500 feet upstream of the crossing of <br />East Maplewood Avenue <br /> <br />Goldsmith Gulch from a point approximately <br />500 feet downstream of its crosping of East <br />Orchard Road upstream to the cr~ssing of South <br />Dayton Street (located in the city of Greenwood <br />Village) <br /> <br />(FPR #45) <br /> <br />(FPR #49) <br /> <br />(FPR #61) <br /> <br />(FPR #93-345) <br /> <br />Willow Creek from its confluence with Little <br />Dry Creek upstream to the crossing of County <br />Line Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new report p~ovides, on the basis of completed <br />flood control improvements and revised hydraulic analyses that were <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />(Not previously <br />designated) <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br />
