<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />part of a Limited Map Maintenance Program (LMMP) study performed by <br />the Federal Emergency Management Agency and subsequently included <br />in said new report, detailed floodplain information that revises <br />the information contained in those portions of the following <br />Resolutions listed in Table 1; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Arapahoe County, colorado, has requested the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board to designate and approve the floodplains <br />set forth in the aforesaid new report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Greenwood Village has been notified of <br />the changes to the floodplain information for Goldsmith Gulch <br />within the corporate limits of ~he city of Greenwood Village; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1) (c), Colorado Revised Statues, <br />requires the Colorado Water Conservation Board to assist in the <br />prevention of floods and flood damages therefrom; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sections 31-23-301 and 30-28-111, Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, directs the Colorado ~ater Conservation to designate and <br />approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins and to make <br />such designations available to legislative bodies of local <br />jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the information in said new report relating to the <br />stream reaches listed in Table j meets all of the requirements. for <br />detailed information listed under the Board's "Rules and <br />Regulations for the Designation and Approval of Floodplains and of <br />Storm or Floodwater Runoff Chan.nels in Colorado" (2 CCR 408-1); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado <br />this 9th day of March, 1994, ~hat it does hereby designate and <br />approve as detailed floodplain information the 100-year floodplains <br />as described by the floodwater surface elevations and profiles in <br />said new report, dated December 3, 1993, for the study reaches <br />listed in Table 1 and does hereby rescind those portions of the <br />Resolutions listed in Table 1 and finds the remaining floodplain <br />information to be consistent with the Board's previously designated <br />floodplain information in Resolutions Nos. 45, 49, 61 and 93-345; <br />and <br /> <br />.BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is <br />directed to send a certified COpy of this resolution to the City of <br />Greenwood Village; the Board of County Commissioners of Arapahoe <br />County; the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District; the Colorado <br />Office of Emergency Management; and the Federal Emergency <br />Management Agency. <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />- <br />
