'.

February 16, 1977/page 3

~\
!ii\

The development of environmental inventory data within
the basin was d~scussed. It is our feeling that such an
inventory would not be purposeful to our planning effort at
this time. We rresently have an ongoing program of research
in this area an? have developed a good deal of information.

Finally, a format for study results was discussed. The
general feeling was that mapping be done on an approximate
600 scale with an ortho-photo background. This sort of map
would allow accurate scaling and determination of geographic
areas as well as depict the locations and numbers of improve-
ments.

We will expect to hear from you in the near future with
regard to a more detailed scope of study which we will
expect to be forthcoming. Thank you.

Sincerely,

~dI~~

Rex A. Burns
Larimer County Flood Administrator

RAB/lr
CC: Larry Lang
Gary Fortrier
