In researching the costs associated with Alternative I-A we
contacted Carder Concrete. Littleton. Colorado. Carder
Concrete estimated E-80-RR. railroad loading design. 10 ft. x 7
ft. concrete box culverts delivered to jOb site at limon would
be $488.00 per linear foot.

To determine the labor involved in excavating. placing. and
backfilling the concrete culverts we contacted Binder
Construction. Denver. Colorado. Binder Construction stated
that they have experience in placing pipe of equal size and
usually bid such a jOb at about $ 150.00 per linear ft.

Materials:

Eight rows of Box Culverts x 110 ft. length
8 x 110 =880 L.F. @ $488.00 = $ 429.440.00

Labor:

880 L.F x $150.00 L.F. = $ 132.000.00

Enqineerinq:

Engineering design. survey. and inspection @ 10%= $ 56.144.00
