The City is interested in doing stream stabilization on Little Dry Creek. He has had some <br />problems in getting land owner consent to do the project. He was informed of potential <br />CWCB financial programs for conducting the work. <br /> <br />. He will send in the designation request letter. <br /> <br />Columbine Valley <br />. Ms. Ann Jennings was contacted. She indicated that Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br />District normally provides support regarding drainage and flood control issues, and that Bill <br />DeGroot has advised them not to request designation until they get map revisions from <br />FEMA. Ms, Jennings will contact Tom Browning directly regarding this issue. <br /> <br />. Revisions to the Drainageway E improvements has been approved by FEMA. They are <br />currently working on Drainageway D improvements. Dutch Creek has been removed from <br />the floodplain. <br /> <br />. Except for the large parcel on the south side of town, most development is infill. This parcel <br />may be in the floodplain. <br /> <br />Englewood <br />. Mr. Harold Stitt, the community development engineer, was contacted regarding floodplain <br />information. He is not too familiar with the study. <br /> <br />. In April of 1999, he sent Larry Lang a letter acknowledging the 1991 study. <br /> <br />. There has not been any new development in the floodplains, <br /> <br />. He will send in the designation request letter. <br /> <br />Glendale <br />. Mr. Chuck Line, Building Official, was contacted. <br /> <br />. The City has constructed drop structures in Cherry Creek to protect the bridge. These <br />structures probably did not affect the floodplain. They were constructed using a UDFCD <br />grant. <br /> <br />. There has not been any flooding along Cherry Creek since he has been with the City. <br /> <br />. He will send in the designation request letter. <br /> <br />Greenwood Village <br />.
