<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Garfield County, <br />by Resolution No. 246, adopted on January 16, 1986, designated and approved the detailed and <br />approximate floodplain information included in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the J. E. Langford & Assoc., Inc., under contract to the Town of Parachute <br />and the Colorado Water Conservation Board, completed a floodplain report entitle:d "Floodplain <br />Information Report, Parachute Creek, Colorado River in the Town of Parachute, Colorado", dated <br />October 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for the Colorado River <br />and Parachute Creek within the corporate limits of the Town of Parachute and within <br />unincorporated portions of Mesa County, as they were in October 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the Town of <br />Parachute, by Resolution No. 303, adopted on January 19, 1990, designated and approved the <br />detailed floodplain information included in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain <br />information report entitled "Flood Insurance StudY, Mesa County, Colorado, Unincorporated <br />Areas", dated September 15, 1992; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed and approximate floodplain information for <br />streams within unincorporated portions of the Mesa County, as they were on September 15, 1992, <br />which revised the detailed information contained in Resolutions Nos. 78, 79 and 80, including <br />the information for the Colorado River; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Mesa County, by <br />Resolution No. 92-330, adopted on September 15, 1992, designated and approved the detailed <br />floodplain information included in said report and rescinded those portions of Resolutions Nos. <br />78, 79 and 80 relating to the Colorado River and selected tributaries only within unincorporated <br />portions of Mesa County, as they were on September 15, 1992; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain <br />information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, City of Grand Junction, Colorado, Mesa <br />County", dated July 15, 1992; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for streams within the <br />corporate limits of the City of Grand Junction, as tbey were on July 15, 1992, which revised the <br />detailed information contained in Resolutions Nos. 79 and 208, including the information for the <br />Colorado River; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the City of Grand <br />Junction, by Resolution No. 92-331, adopted on September 15, 1992, designated and approved <br /> <br />4 <br />
