<br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed and approximate floodplain information for
<br />streams within unincorporated portions of Mesa County, as they were in January 1978, including
<br />the Colorado River; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Mesa County, by
<br />Resolution No. 106, adopted on May 12, 1978, designated and approved the detailed and the
<br />approximate floodplain information included in said report, for West Creek only; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain
<br />information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, City of Grand Junction, Colorado, Mesa
<br />County", dated July 6, 1982; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for streams within the
<br />corporate limits of the City of Grand Junction, as they were on July 6, 1982, which revised the
<br />detailed information contained in Resolution No. 79, including the information for the Colorado
<br />River; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the City of Grand
<br />Junction, by Resolution No. 208, adopted on January 7, 1983, designated and approved the
<br />detailed floodplain information included in said report and rescinded that portion of Resolution
<br />No. 79 relating to stream reaches within the corporate limits of the City of Grand Junction, as
<br />they were on July 6, 1982; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain
<br />information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, City of Rifle, Colorado, Garfield County",
<br />dated January 3, 1986; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for streams within the
<br />corporate limits of the City of Rifle, as they were on January 3, 1986, including the Colorado
<br />River; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the City of Delta,
<br />by Resolution No. 245, adopted on January 16, 1986, designated and approved the detailed
<br />floodplain information included in said report; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain
<br />information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Garfield County, Colorado, Unincorporated
<br />Areas", dated January 3, 1986; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed and approximate floodplain information for
<br />streams within unincorporated portions of Garfield County, as they were on January 3, 1986,
<br />including the Colorado River; and
