Depart Lake Estes by helicopter for
Lilwn Lake. (Only two people at a
time could be transported in the
helicopter. John VanSciver and
Jim Norfleet were initia 11y transported
to Lawn Lake. The helicopter then
returned to Lake Estes and transported
Eric Wilkinson and Allan Rogers to Cascac
Lake.)

1:00 P.M.

Arrive at Lawn Lake site and rendezvous
with Roger Patterson of the Bureau of
Reclamation. Roger assisted us during a
portion of the inspection and indicated
he had numerous aerial and ground photo-
graphs available. Roger Patterson remain
with us at the site L1ntil approximately
2:00 P.M.

1:00 to 2:30 P.M.

Inspection of the Lawn Lake site. This
inspection was performed by John VanSciv,
Jim Norfleet, and with the assistance of
Roger Patterson of the Bureau or Reclamati
(Refer to major paragraph below for findin,
of this inspect ion.)

3:30 P.M.

Rendezvous with Eric Wilkinson and Allan
Rogers at Lake Estes. The
inspection team of VanSc iver and Norfleet
was air-lifted at 2:30 P. M. The team of
Wilkinson and Rogers was air-lifted at
ilpproximiltely 3 :00 P. M.

4:00 P.M.

Telephone check-in with Alan Pearson to
discuss findings of the inspection at Lawr
Lake and Cascade Lake.

4:15 to 4:35 P.M.

Obtain authority and a pass to travel up-
river to the Cascade Dam 5 ite. Permits
were issued at the Stanley Hotel. Photo
identification octa ined to allow us to
work in the area.
