The dates at which special detail drawings will be required; and <br /> <br />b. Respective dates for submission of SHOP DRAWINGS, the beginning of <br />manufacture, the testing and the installation of materials, supplies and <br />equipment. <br /> <br />GENERAL SERVICE AND FACILITIES REOUIREMENTS. <br /> <br />GENERAL. Except as may be modified otherwise in the SPECIAL CONTRACT <br />CONDITIONS, the CONTRACTOR shall provide and pay for all permits and licenses, <br />materials, labor, tools, equipment, water, sanitary, heat, light, power, transportation, <br />supervision, field office facilities, telephone and other related services and facilities of <br />whatsoever nature necessary to execute and complete the work in accordance with the <br />CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. <br /> <br />MATERIALS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT. <br /> <br />a. Materials and equipment shall be so stored as to insure the preservation of their quality <br />and fitness for the WORK. Stored materials and equipment to be incorporated in the <br />WORK shall be located so as to facilitate prompt inspection. <br /> <br />b. Manufactured articles, materials, and equipment shall be applied, installed, connected, <br />erected, used, cleaned and conditioned as directed by the manufacturer. <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />Materials, supplies and equipment shall be in accordance with samples submitted by <br />the CONTRACTOR and approved by the ENGINEER or OWNER and sball be new <br />unless otherwise specified and approved. <br /> <br />d. Materials, supplies or equipment to be incorporated into the WORK shall nO[ be <br />purchased by the CONTRACTOR or the SUBCONTRACTOR subject to a chattel <br />mortgage or under a conditional sale contract or other agreement by which an interest <br />is retained by the seller. <br /> <br />REGULATIONS. The CONTRACTOR shall give all notices and comply with all laws, <br />ordinances, codes, rules and regulations bearing on the conduct of the WORK. If the <br />CONTRACTOR observes that any DRAWINGS or SPECIFICATIONS are at variance <br />therewith, or if the CONTRACTOR performs any WORK under any circumstances where he <br />knows or should have known it to be contrary to any such law, ordinance's, code, rules or <br />regulations, and without giving such notice to the ENGINEER and/or OWNER, he shall <br />bear all costs arising therefrom. However, it shall not be the CONTRACTORS primary <br />responsibility to make certain that the DRAWINGS and SPECIFICATIONS are in accordance <br />with such laws, ordinances, rules and regulations. <br /> <br />PUBLIC RELATIONS. The CONTRACTOR shall carry on the WORK in such manner as <br />to minimize inconvenience to the public, particularly occupants of property adjacent to the <br />project, as is consistent with good workmanship. <br /> <br />The CONTRACTOR shall notify all affected persons at least forty- eight hours before starting <br />WORK which may block entrances or otherwise cause undue difficult to occupant); of property <br />affected and shall restore such entrances to a usable conditions as soon as possible. In <br />addition, special performance requirements for the Empire Coach Manufacturing, Inc. property <br />are presented on Construction Drawing CP-l.
