Within the ninety-day appeal period provided for in Section :10 of the
Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973, the Federal Insurance Administra-
tior. (FIA) has not received any appeals of the proposed base flood
elevations from officials or individual residents of your co~unity.
Other appeals or inquiries which PIA may have received regarding data
other than the base flood elevations will be resolved before the Flood
IEsurance Study and Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) become e::fective.
Accordingly, the determinatio:l of the Administrator as to the base flood
elevations for your commtmity is considered final. The fina: base flood
elevations are identical to L~e proposed base flood elevatio~s published
in ilie above-mentioned newspa?er and the Federal Register at 44 ?R 51244
on hUgust 31, 1979. The final base flood elevations will be published
again in the Federal Register as soon as possible, and they are ::eflected
in the accompanying proof copies of the Flood Insurance Study and FIRM.
