(FIA) has not received any appeals of the proposed base flood <br />elevations from officials or individual residents of your co~unity. <br />Other appeals or inquiries which PIA may have received regarding data <br />other than the base flood elevations will be resolved before the Flood <br />IEsurance Study and Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) become e::fective. <br />Accordingly, the determinatio:l of the Administrator as to the base flood <br />elevations for your commtmity is considered final. The fina: base flood <br />elevations are identical to L~e proposed base flood elevatio~s published <br />in ilie above-mentioned newspa?er and the Federal Register at 44 ?R 51244 <br />on hUgust 31, 1979. The final base flood elevations will be published <br />again in the Federal Register as soon as possible, and they are ::eflected <br />in the accompanying proof copies of the Flood Insurance Study and FIRM. <br />The FIR!>l .,<ill become effe,ctive six months from the date of t:"lis letter. <br />Before the effective date, PIA will send you final printed copies of the <br />FIR2', and Study. <br /> <br />
