<br />the contractor within stated calendar days after award of the contract. <br />Failure to do so will result in a penalty charge of $100 per calendar day <br />and/or removal from the CWCB's mailing list for I year. <br /> <br />D. Prepaneling, The following procedures shall be required for the <br />accomplishment of prepaneling the project. Contrasting panels shall be <br />used whenever necessary in standard Y or + patterns. <br /> <br />1. The contractor shall provide the vertical and horizontal ground <br />control panel layout. This layout shall include the paneling of all <br />existing USC&GS and USGS benchmarks, county benchmarks (as <br />provided), and known section comers in the area. <br /> <br />2. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all paneling <br />materials and for locating llil existing benchmarks within the <br />project area, as well as for panel placement and the setting of <br />reference monuments. <br /> <br />3. All paneled points shall be located and appropriately labeled on the <br />mapping. This includes existing benchmarks and known section <br />comers. <br /> <br />4. Removal of all panels upon satisfactory completion ofthe field <br />work shall be required. <br /> <br />E. Ground Control Layout. The horizontal and vertical ground control <br />system and panel layout to be used for the project shall be submitted to the <br />CWCB for review and approval as to its adequacy prior to the aerial <br />photography. Mapping projects that are designed to use all field-surveyed <br />control should have sufficient survey points established in order to set and <br />properly evaluate the orientation of each separate model. If full analytical <br />photogrammetry or analytical aerotriangulation is proposed, the computer <br />model shall be referenced and the procedure outlined in sufficient detail to <br />be evaluated. Semi-analytical bridging methods may be used for the work. <br />Proposals involving semi-analytical bridging for all or part of the control <br />must include an explanation of the semi-analytical bridging in the <br />proposal. In such cases, the procedure to be used must be reviewed and <br />approved by the CWCB. Preference will be given to those contractors <br />proposing to use a full field-surveyed control and/or analytical <br />aerotriangulation methods. <br /> <br />F. Camera Focal Length. Preference will be given to the proposals <br />employing a 6" focal length camera. Other focal lengths are acceptable if <br />their use is compatible with the specified accuracy for the equipment to be <br />used as proposed. <br />
