GOLF COURSE AREA (AREA NO.9)

It is proposed to collect all of the drainage from the Yuma

North Area, the Yuma Lake Area, and the Industrial Develop-

ment, through the proposed railroad crossing conveying all

the storm drainage in an open ditch across the golf course

area to a proposed detention pond located west of the golf

course entrance shown on Exhibit Number II attached herewith.

The designed storage available should be approximately 9.8

acre feet in the golf course pond. However, additional storage

can be provided for golf course pond irrigation and general

enhancement of the area. It is anticipated that a storage pond can

be provided in this area due to the low oxygen demands anticipated

and relatively slow velocities in the ditches flowing into the

pond. An 18" outlet structure is proposed to convey storm

drainage east from the pond across the entrance road into

the natural drainage way in that area. The 18" line would not

produce any significant additional strom drainage onto crop

lands more than is presently produced.

10. AIRPORT POND AREA (AREA NO. 10)
It is proposed to construct an 18" reinforced concrete culvert

across Detroit Street to drain the area west of the street and

conveying it in an open ditch across the northern area of the

airport easterly crossing the runway with a 24" culvert.
