Estimated costs are provided in the financial sec- <br /> <br />tion of this report for the pond, ditches, and right-of-way <br /> <br />across private property. <br /> <br />11. AIRPORT SOUTH AREA (AREA NO. 11) <br />It is proposed to drain the southern half of the airport with an <br /> <br />open ditch across country generally to the south end of the <br /> <br />north-south runway eliminating ponding within that area. The <br /> <br />open ditch will be constructed generally across country to <br /> <br />a point north of the east-west county road, daylighting along <br /> <br />the north side of the county road. Due to design capacities <br /> <br />and slope of the ditch, it is necessary to provide ditch checks <br /> <br />in this ditch to prevent unnecessary erosion. Costs estimates <br /> <br />are provided in the financial section of this report for the <br /> <br />ditch structures and ditch. <br /> <br />12. FUTURE IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />It is anticipated that a ponding area will be needed in the area <br /> <br />25 <br />
