PHEASANT RIDGE AREA (AREA NO.5) <br /> <br />The streets within the Pheasant Ridge Development can be <br /> <br />designed adequately to handle the small amount of storm <br /> <br />drainage produced within the development, however, a culvert <br /> <br />is proposed to collect drainage from the east side of Cedar <br /> <br />Street carrying it west to the present Pheasant Ridge pond. <br /> <br />It is proposed to expand the Pheasant Ridge pond to a designed <br /> <br />storage of 8. 3 acre feet with an 18" outlet structure provided <br /> <br />to drain the pond north to west 9th Avenue and along west 9th <br /> <br />Avenue to intersect with the Legion Pond outlet pipe. Small <br /> <br />surface ditches should be provided along the west property <br /> <br />line of the development to collect overland flows from the <br /> <br />west and directing that into the Pheasant Ridge Pond. These <br /> <br />ditches are not included within the cost estimates at this time <br /> <br />due to their relative insignificance. Cost estimates are pro- <br /> <br />vided in the financial section of this report for these improvements. <br /> <br />21 <br />
