The drainage way daylights east of the area

along Highway 34.

9. THE GOLF COURSE AREA (AREA NO.9)

The Golf Course area is located east of Yuma with a south-

ern boundary the Burlington Northern Railroad, the west

boundary north Detroit Street.. the north boundary Beatty

Avenue extended with the east boundary the drive leading

into the Golf Course, extended to the railroad. This area

contains approximately 142 acres.

10. AIRPORT LAKE AREA (AREA NO. 10)

The next major area is Airport Lake Area. This area drains

generally the north half of the airport, extending across

Detroit Street with the southern boundary generally the run-

way extending from northeast to southwest, and with the north-

ern area the south boundary of the Tract II and the general area

of the Siel Development. This area contains approximately

138 acres. The major problem here is the flat land and ponding

occurring west of Detroit Street and also between the runways

to the east.

7
