<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />SMITH. ROBERT W. <br /> <br />Mr. Smith is the Assiscant City Engineer of Fort Collins, <br />CQlorado. His background includes extensive wprk in <br />drainage. public works and floodplain management. He is the <br />local floodplain administrator for Fort Collins and works <br />closely with the State and Federal governments on floodplain <br />issues and the National Flood Insurance Program. <br /> <br />SOSCIA, MARY LOU <br /> <br />Ms. Soscia is currently employed as Project Manager for the <br />Wyoming State Assistance Program with the Wyoming Disaster <br />and Civil Defense Office. She coordinates wyoming's <br />floodplain management activities and community assistance' <br />programs. <br /> <br />STANTON. WILLIAM P. <br /> <br />Mr. Stanton is Assistant Section Chief of the Flood Control <br />and Floodplain Management Section, Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board. Mr. Stanton jointly coordinates the <br />state's floodplain management activities including several <br />floodplain mapping and community assistance programs. He <br />was recently appointed as the state's representative to a <br />flood hazard mitigation team following the Lawn Lake dam <br />break flQ?d at Estes Park, and he was responsible for <br />preparing the first comprehensive Flood Hazard Mitigation <br />Plan for Colorado. <br /> <br />TAGGART, WILLIAM C. <br /> <br />Mr. Taggart is a partner in McLaughlin water. Engineers and <br />was formerly a partner in wric;jht-McI'aughlin Engineers. He <br />has completed many Master Drainage Plans; designed numerous <br />flood control, flood storage, riv.er work . and . other civil <br />engineer ing projects related t6",fl~9dplains; and testified <br />as an expert witness in several floodplain lawsuits, in <br />particular for two successful lawsuits against two different <br />State Highway Departments. <br /> <br />-7- <br />
