Geological Survey, the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, the Corps <br />of Engineers and several other State and Federal agencies. <br /> <br />Mr. Paulson is active in the Association of State Floodplain Managers <br />and the Colorado Association of Stormwater and Floodplain Managers, <br />for which he is currently serving as Newsletter Editor. <br /> <br />Project Engineer - George Slovensky, P.E. <br /> <br />Mr. Slovensky has more than 7 years of professional experience in <br />hydrolo~,'y, hydraulics, floodplain studies, flood control, stormwater <br />management and related areas. He has been a Project or staff engineer <br />for over 25 projects requiring expertise in these areas. His recent work <br />includes Project Engineer responsibilities for the Town of Georgetown <br />Flood Hazard Mitigation Plan, the Canon City Hazard Mitigation Grant <br />Application, the Highlands Ranch Northridge Tributary Channel <br />Stabilization Project, and flood insurance restudies for the Jordan River <br />in Utah, the City of Avon Lake, Ohio and Skunk Creek near Phoenix, <br />Arizona. <br /> <br />Project Engineer - Jerry Gibbens, P.E. <br /> <br />Mr. Gibbens will share Project Engineering responsibilities for the <br />Floodplain Study Review and Designation Program. Mr. Gibbens has 7 <br />years experience in the areas of hydrology, hydraulics, flood control and <br />stormwater management and related areas. Some of his most relevant <br />project work includes: hydrologic analysis, hydraulic analysis and <br />preliminary design of the Spring Creek floodplain and proposed crossing <br />structures in Fort Collins; hydrologic analysis, hydraulic analysis and <br />designation of existing floodplains as part of the Town of Mead, Colorado <br />Drainage Master plan; and hydrologic analysis, hydraulic analysis and <br />design of Stray Horse Gulch and associated drainage facilities in Leadville. <br />In addition, as part of Town Engineer responsibilities for several small <br />communities along the Front Range, hydraulic modeling and reports <br />were reviewed for proposed floodplain modifications.
