It can also be used to
produce a magnetic tape or disk interface for the Stream Water Quality program
and/or accept input from the Reservoir Water Quality program for a river-reservo
system analysis. This program is also capable of accepting inflow hydrographs
frOlll the STORM program.
.. ....OOIll..I,.CII'ICATIOMI .
The program is written in FORTRAN IV. Dimensions allow for 30 inflow tributari
and withdrawals, and 41 cross sections having up to 21 vertical layers.
c. ..TttODS
The user has a choice from six hydraulic computation methods; stage-flow con-
trol, backwater, Muskingum, modified PuIs, kinematic wave and St. Venant.
D. aQUIN...T DIIT All.. used
The program is operational on the CDC 7600 and the UNIVAC 1108 but may be other high speed computers with minor modifications. The program requires 52K
words of storage on the CDC 7600. Program input options allow the user to
specify input-output unit numbers. In addition to these unite, unit numbers
5, 6 and 7 are reserved for the card reader, line printer and card punch res-
pectively.
!. '''"',.''''T",'
Input has been designed to accept the Same cross section data as HEC-2 except
for bridge sections. This program can receive its upstream input via inter-
face with the Reservoir Water Quality programs and can output hydraulic con-
ditions for interface with the Stream Water Quality program.
,..
