SOCIOECO:"iOMIC COl"l'DITIOSS <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />POPULATION <br /> <br />Population forecasts prepared in 1990 for Larimer County by the Colorado <br />Division of Local Government project continued population growth lhrough 2000. <br />These projections are shown in table 3-2. Similar projections were no! available for <br />Fort Collins. Population projections for Fort Collins were based on the assumption <br />that the population rclalionsllip between the city and county in 1990 would continue <br />in the future. The~e projections are also shown in tahle 3-2. <br /> <br />Fort Collins, Larimer County, and Colorado have grown rapidly Since 1970, <br />although growth rates have slowed since 1980.
