<br />Board's "Rules and Regulations for the Designation and Approval of Floodplains and of Storm <br />or Floodwater Runoff Channels in Colorado" (2 CCR 408-1); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the approximate floodplain information in said new report for the stream <br />reaches listed in Tables 2, 3, 4, 6 and 10 meets the requirements for approximate information <br />listed under the Board's "Rules and Regulations for the Designation and Approval of <br />Floodplains and of Storm or Floodwater Runoff Channels in Colorado" (2 CCR 408-1); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board has determined that the <br />hydrologic methodology developed in the Guidelinesfor Determining lOO-Year Flood Flows <br />for Approximate Floodplains in Colorado is appropriate for the purpose of designation and <br />approval of approximate floodplain information, but that the methodology is not appropriate for <br />use with development involving residential subdivisions greater than 50 lots or occurring on <br />sites greater than 5 acres, commercial construction, industrial construction, construction of <br />public transportation facilities or construction of flood control activities; and <br /> <br />Designation. Approval and Rescission Action <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, this 20th day of March, 1997, that it does <br />hereby designate and approve detailed floodplain information the 100-year floodplains as <br />described in said new report, dated September 30, 1988 for those stream reaches within the <br />unincorporated areas of Teller County listed in Table I; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board does hereby designate and approve as <br />storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins those streams within the unincorporated areas of <br />Teller County, as described by approximate floodplain information in said new report dated <br />September 30, 1988, as listed in Tables 2, 4 and 6,. except the approximate floodplain <br />information for local storm draina2e areas, and according to the hydrologic procedure for <br />estimating 100-year peak flows as described in the Hydrologic Addendum for Approximate <br />Floodplains dated March 1997, contingent upon the understanding that Teller County will <br />regulate the approximate floodplains on a case-by-case basis subject to a detailed hydrologic <br />and hydraulic analysis performed by a professional engineer, in accordance with the Guidelines <br />; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board does hereby designate and approve as <br />storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins those streams within the corporate limits of the <br />City of Woodland Park, as described by approximate floodplain information in said new report <br />dated September 30, 1988, as listed in Tables 3 and 10, and according to the hydrologic <br />procedure for estimating 100-year peak flows as described in the Hydrologic Addendum for <br />Approximate Floodplains dated March 1997, utilizing the detailed hydrology information <br />contained in said new report, contingent upon the understanding that the City of Woodland Park <br /> <br />14 <br />
