.'

r

"

Mr. Sheldon Boone
February 5. 1990
Page t.wo

The design points for the flood hydrologic study on Spring
Creek are:

o Upstream of County Road No. 90 for the Pierce stream reach

o Upstream of the north Town limits for the Nunn stream

reach

We would recommend that the hydrology study be performed
using the SCS watershed rainfall-runoff model. The results of
these hydrologic analyses shoUld be presented to the Town and
the CWCB in a formal report with all applicable technical
back-up data and documentation.

On behalf of the Town of Pierce and this Board. we look
forward to working with the SCS on this much needed floodplain
management project. Should the SCS need to make a change in
the Colorado FY 90 floodplain management studies program to
implement this reguest. I recommend that you do so.

Sincerely.

M

J.
