Describe their responses to these
items.

(b) Lender's Checklist - Provide the reader with a
summary description of the results of your meetings
with lenders. Cover the types of loans they handle;
whether they apply the flood insurance purchases
requirement to all of their loans; the adequacy of
their record-keeping; any problems they have with
meeting their responsibilities under the NFIP; and
their awareness of sources for assistance. Be sure
to include the nature of lenders' relationships
with local officials.

(c) Agent's Checklist - Provide the reader with a
summary description of the results of your meetings
with insurance agents. Cover the adequacy of their
processes for handling insurance requests; for
securing lowest floor elevations and to check on
mobile home anchoring; the availability of maps,
manuals and other materials and their competency in
using them; any problem they have with meeting
their responsibilities under the NFIP; and their
awareness of sources for assistance, Be sure to
include the nature of the agent's relationship with
local officials, e.g., is lowest floor elevation
information readily available?

(d) At the end of Section VII of the report, list
the firms that you visited as they are recorded on
pages 8 and 10 of the CRF,

9, Findings: Your goal in this section is to provide
the reader with a one-page summary of the highlights of
the CAPE. Start your write-up by referring to the
"Summary of Statistics." This is the Part 2 checklist
from the CRF. It should always be attached along with
the meeting attendance list. Next, go through each
section of the Report and pullout the most important
technical assistance and enforcement issues, Condense
these into a brief statement (less than five lines, if
possible) under the heading "Summary of Issues."

100 Recommendations: Your goal here is to inform the
reader of what fOllow-up is needed and who should be
assigned each task. Each item listed in the Summary of
Issues in Part IX of your Report needs to be addressed

- 25 -
