Re-design of the project or portions thereof necessistated <br />by a change of design concept on the part of the CWCB <br />outside of the engineers control. <br /> <br />B. Special services anticipated for this project are listed below <br />with their related scope of work and estimated costs. <br /> <br />1. Model Observation <br /> <br />a. This portion of the engineering assignment is to work <br />with the Bureau of Reclamation hydraulIcs laboratory in <br />the preparation of a hydraulic model to study the <br />detailed hydraulics, layout. boating features and <br />sedimentation transport and deposition of the design. <br /> <br />1) Consult with USBR on the layout and details of their <br />construction of a 1: 18 scale model of the design in <br />their hydraulIcs laboratory. <br /> <br />2) Observation of the flow tests conducted on the <br />hydraulic model and consultation on required <br />modifications as necessitated by those tests. <br /> <br />3) Observation and acceptance of the test procedures. <br /> <br />4) Review of the reports and documentation prepared by <br />the USBR and confirm or adjust as necessary. <br /> <br />B. Estimated cost is $9.000 <br /> <br />2. Resident Engineering!Inspection <br /> <br />a. Full-time construction inspection and field engineering <br />to assure the correct placement of materials and <br />adequacy of construction performance. <br /> <br />Work items to include: <br />1) Construction staking <br /> <br />2) Inspection of work for quality and adherence to <br />specifications <br /> <br />3) Inspection of material and equipment <br /> <br />4) Inspection of existing utilities and structures <br />
