<br />of which form a part of these specifications and are available in the Office . <br />of the Corps of Engineers, Department of the Army, 6014 U. S. Post Office and <br />Court House, 215 North 17th Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68102. <br /> <br />3.2 Omissions from the drawings or specifications or the misdescription of <br />details of work which are manifestly necessary to carry out the intent of the <br />drawings and specifications, or which are customarily performed, shall not <br />relieve the Contractor from performing such omitted or misdescribed details <br />of the work but they shall be performed as if fully and correctly set forth <br />and described in the drawings and specifications. <br /> <br />3.3 The Contractor shall check all drawings furnished him immediately upon <br />their receipt and shall promptly notify the Contracting Officer of any <br />discrepancies. Figures marked on drawings shall in general be followed in <br />preference to scale measurements. Large size drawings shall in general <br />govern small size drawings. The Contractor shall compare all drawings and <br />verify the figures before laying out the work and will be responsible for any <br />errors which might have been avoided thereby. <br /> <br />4. SUBMITTALS: <br /> <br />4.1 Submittal Register: Within 10 days after receipt of the Notice to <br />Proceed, the Contractor shall complete and submit to the Contracting Officer, <br />for approval, six (6) copies of the attached SUBMITTAL REGISTER, ENG Form <br />4288. A minimum of one form shall be assigned to each specification section <br />on which shall be listed each item of equipment and material of each type for <br />which fabricator's drawings and/or related descriptive data, test reports, <br />samples, spare parts lists, O&M Manuals or other types of submittals are <br />required by the specifications. The Contracting Officer will supply ENG <br />Forms 4288 to the Contractor. <br /> <br />4.1.1 Columns to be Completed by Contractor: Columns 3 and 4 and 6 <br />through 9 of the register shall be fully completed for each submittal item to <br />show the data called for thereon. Columns 1 and 2 shall be left blank. <br />Column 1 shall be used later for recording the respective submittal identifi- <br />cation number inserted on each SHOP DRAWING SUBMITTAL FORM. Column 2 may be <br />used for an additional control number which shall be coordinated with the <br />Contracting Officer's Representative. Column 5 shall be left blank except <br />when a network analysis system is a contract requirement. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />4.1. 2 Order of Listing of Submittals: The order of lis ting of items on <br />the register shall be by categories (Category I or II) and shall conform to <br />the chronological sequence of each item as they occur in the contract specifi- <br />cation sections. All Category I submittals shall be listed first and <br />identified as such by inserting "CATEGORY I" on the first line of the <br />SUBMITTAL REGISTER. Following this listing, the next line on the SUBMITTAL <br />REGISTER shall be headed "CATEGORY II," and all such items shall then be <br />listed. All pages of the register shall be numbered. <br /> <br />4.1.3 Scheduling by Systems: Shop drawings on component items forming a <br />system or that are interrelated shall be scheduled to be correlated and <br />submitted concurrently.
