<br />1. Known section corners only within the mapping <br />11m1 ts shall be located and paneled prior to <br />flying. <br /> <br />2. Coordinate values and elevations shall be <br />determined for known section corners by third <br />order surveys as described in item III 0 of <br />these specifications. <br /> <br />3. Section lines where corners are beyond mapping <br />limits shall be determined by enlarging 7.5 minute <br />USGS quads and transferring section lines onto the <br />mapping by matching planimetric and physical <br />features. <br /> <br />I. Corporate Limits. Corporate limits within the project <br />shall be located on the final mylar line maps by the <br />following procedures: <br /> <br />1. Known corporate limit markers shall be located and <br />paneled within the mapping area prior to flying. <br /> <br />2. Unmarked corporate limit lines shall be drawn on <br />the new mapping using the best and most recent <br />community map available for matching planimetric <br />and physical features . <br /> <br />J. Exhibits. Exhibits 1 through 6 are attached for <br />general 1nformation to assist the contractor in <br />understanding the specifications and materials <br />required. <br /> <br />V. ACCEPTANCE AND APPROVAL <br /> <br />Work performed under these specifications shall be <br />subject to review and examination by the CWCB at any place <br />where such work is being performed. The contracting agency <br />shall have the right. to reject inaccurate or substandard <br />work at any time. All rejected work shall be satisfac- <br />torily corrected and replaced without cost to the contract- <br />ing agency. As soon as practicable after delivery for <br />review, the contact prints, maps, and cross sections will <br />be reviewed and checked. The mapping contractor shall <br />coordinate his operations to permit a reasonable and rapid <br />check of the work by the CWCB in order to assure that the <br />accuracy and quality of workmanship complies in all <br />respects with the terms and provisions of these <br />specifications. <br /> <br />-9- <br />
