<br />WHEREAS, Simons, Li & Associates, Inc., under contract to the City of Fort Collins and Larimer <br />County completed a floodplain information report entitled" Major Drainageway Planning Study, Cooper <br />Slough, Boxelder Creek, Fort Collins, Larimer County, ", dated August 1981; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for Cooper Slough and Boxelder <br />Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Larimer County, by Resolution <br />No. 205, adopted on January 7, 1983, designated and approved the detailed floodplain information <br />included in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service, completed a floodplain <br />information report entitled "Floodplain Management Study, Boxelder Creek in the Vicinity of the Town of <br />Wellington, Co]orado", dated September 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for Boxelder Creek, for Boxelder <br />Creek Overflow Channel and for Coal Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Larimer County, by Resolution <br />No. 227, adopted on January 5, 1984, designated and approved the detailed floodplain information <br />included in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain information report <br />entitled "Flood Insurance Study, City of Fort Collins, Colorado, Larimer County", revised February 15, <br />1984; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for Dry Creek, for Spring Creek and <br />for Spring Creek Overflow; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board has not designated and approved said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain information report <br />entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Larimer County, Colorado, Unincorporated Areas, Volumes 1-3 ", <br />revised March 18, 1986; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for Dry Creek and for other streams <br />and approximate floodplain information for Boxelder Creek, for Cooper Slough and for other streams; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Larimer County, by Resolution <br />No. 272, adopted on March 13, 1987, designated and approved the detailed floodplain information <br />included in said report and rescinded that portion of Resolution No. 128 relating to Dry Creek; and <br /> <br />3 <br />
