<br />WHEREAS, said report dated April 17, 1989 has not been designated and approved by the
<br />Colorado Water Conservation Board; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed floodplain information reports
<br />entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Arapahoe Count)', Colorado, and Incorporated Areas, Volumes 1-3",
<br />revised March 4, 1991, and "Flood Insurance Study, Arapahoe County, Colorado, and Incorporated Areas,
<br />Volumes 1-3", revised December 3, 1993, which djd not revise or include any information for Box Elder
<br />Creek; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain information report
<br />entitled "Flood Insurance Study, City of Aurora, Colorado, Adams, Douglas and Arapahoe Counties",
<br />revised September 30, 1992; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report includes approximate and detailed floodplain information for various streams
<br />within the corporate limits of the City of Aurora, as they were on September 30, 1992, including Box
<br />Elder Creek; and:
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the City of Aurora, by
<br />Resolution No. 93-334, adopted on May 7, 1993, cte:signated and approved detailed floodplain information
<br />included in said report, for selected streams, not including Box Elder Creek; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain information report
<br />entitled "Flood Insurance Study, City of Aurora, Colorado, Adams, Douglas and Arapahoe Counties",
<br />revised August 16,1995; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report includes approximate and detailed floodplain information, incorporated
<br />through electronic digitization from the report dated September 30, 1992, for various streams within the
<br />corporate limits of the City of Aurora, as they were on August 16, 1995, including Box Elder Creek; and:
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the City of Aurora, by
<br />Resolution No, 95-405, adopted on November 6, 1995, designated and approved detailed floodplain
<br />information included in said report, for selected stre:uns, not including Box Elder Creek; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a report entitled "Flood
<br />Insurance Study, Adams County, Colorado and Incorporated Areas", revised August 16, 1995; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report includes approximate and detailed floodplain information for various streams
<br />streams within the corporate limits of each of the municipalities in Adams County and within
<br />unincorporated portions of Adams County, as they were on August 16, 1995, including Boxelder Creek;
<br />and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, has not designated and approved the detailed
<br />and approximate floodplain information included in said report; and
