<br />FPR 96-421 <br /> <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br />721 State Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />May 14, 1996 <br /> <br />RES OL UTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain information report <br />entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Adams County, Colorado, Unincorporated Areas", dated August 1978; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report included approximate and detailed floodplain information for various streams <br />in unincorporated portions of Adams County, as they were in 1978, including Box Elder Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Adams County, by Resolution <br />No, 153, adopted on January 30, 1980, designated and approved the detailed floodplain information <br />included in said report, for Little Comanche Creek, Comanche Creek, Box Elder Creek and Northfield <br />Creek only; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain information report <br />entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Arapahoe County, Colorado, Unincorporated Areas", dated August 1977; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report dated August 1977 included approximate and detailed floodplain information <br />for various streams in unincorporated portions of Arapahoe County, as they were in August 1977, <br />including Box Elder Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report dated August 1977 has not been designated and approved by the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain information report <br />entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Arapahoe County, Colorado, and Incorporated Areas", dated April 17, <br />1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report dated April 17, 1989 included approximate and detailed floodplain <br />information for various streams within the corporate limits of each of the municipalities in Arapahoe <br />County and within unincorporated portions of Arapahoe County, as they were on April 17, 1989, including <br />Box Elder Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report dated April 17, 1989 revised the floodplain information contained in the <br />report dated August 1977 for various streams in Arapahoe County, but did not revise the floodplain <br />information for Box Elder Creek; and <br />
