Teller <br />County # 88 along with Tdler #1 and Teller <br />#11 (High Park Road) an: part of the Gold <br />Bell Tour National Scenic Byway. a historic <br />driving tour of Colorado mining towns. A <br />map detailing this scenic by\'.:ay can be be <br />found in Figure 1.5. <br /> <br />Fortunately. the county's largest city. <br />Woodland Park (population 6.515 - 2000 <br />Census). located in eastc:m Teller County. <br />was not signilici.U1tly impacted by the July <br />stomlS. <br /> <br />Location and Watershed Description <br /> <br />Teller County is located in the mountains of c~ntr.J1 Colorado. approximately 20 miles <br />west of Colorado Springs. Elcvations m this mountainous area range from 8.000 to <br />nearly 14.000 fect. The county is <br />bisecTed casvwest by State Road <br />24 \",hich runs along the summit <br />dividing the Arkansas and the <br />South Platte watersheds. Figure <br />1. 7 (next pagt.'
