As a part of this contract, we were hired to review the floodplain for Gregory
Gulch and evaluate the existing condition of the flume under Gregory Street. Love &
Associates reviewed the hydrologic models prepared by IF. Sato for the proposed street
improvements by CDOT. Love & Associates revised portions of the Sato modeling
efforts, both hydrologic and hydraulic, as a part of this project. We reviewed the impacts
of the flows on the existing flume structure, with and without the proposed baffle system
and analyzed the impacts of the improvements on the stream and floodplain.

Client: Brook Svoboda
City of Black Hawk
P.O.
