<br />Detailed <br />Development <br />Review <br /> <br />36 <br /> <br />5) If the proposal is in an area where detailed <br />information is available, the applicant will pro- <br />vide the floodplain administrator with 100- <br />.year flood elevations. If the proposal is in an <br />area where detailed, information-is not avail- <br />able, the applicant will provide a pro- <br />fessionally prepared study ("professionally <br />prepared" means the study has been pre- <br />pared by a Professional Engineer registered <br />in the state of Colorado using methodologies <br />acceptable to FEMA and the CWCS) that pre- <br />sents the detailed information. If any of the <br />activities proposed would change the 100- <br />year floodplain, the submittal materials will <br />describe the floodplain as it would appear <br />after construction, <br />6) The floodplain administrator will review the <br />information and/or submit it to the commun- <br />ity's engineer and/or the appropriate review <br />agency. The review will determine whether <br />any prohibited uses are proposed for the <br />floodway. It will also determine whether any <br />prohibited uses are proposed for the flood <br />fringe or whether any proposed conditional <br />uses fail to meet the required standards, <br />especially standards for lowest floor elevations. <br />7) The reviewer will make recommendations, as <br />necessary, to eliminate buildings, relocate <br />them, elevate them. protect them, or other- <br />wise modify the design. <br />
