<br />. <br /> <br />Construction of Upper Lowry Dam; <br /> <br />Improvements to Kelly Road Dam; <br /> <br />Drainage channel improvement on Lowry Air Force Base from <br /> <br /> <br />Dayton Street at East Alameda Avenue to the potential Upper Lowry <br /> <br /> <br />Dam; and <br /> <br />Drainage channel improvement on Lowry Air Force Base from <br /> <br /> <br />Havana Street at East Alameda Avenue to the potential Upper Lowry <br /> <br /> <br />Dam. This would provide for the construction of a Federal proj- <br /> <br /> <br />ect for flood control, with such modifications as in the discre- <br /> <br /> <br />tion of the Chief of Engineers may be advisable, at a first cost <br /> <br /> <br />to the United States presently estimated at $5,05l,OOO. Annual <br /> <br /> <br />operation and maintenance costs are presently estimated at <br /> <br /> <br />$34,000. <br /> <br />Provided that, prior to initiation of construction and for a <br /> <br /> <br />term of at least 50 years, appropriate non-Federal interests <br /> <br /> <br />shall agree to: <br /> <br />a. Provide a cash contribution for <br /> <br />The design and construction of the two drainage channel <br />improvements on Lowry Air Force Base, and <br /> <br />A lump sum payment for the estimated operation and mainte- <br /> <br /> <br />nance cost of the drainage channel improvements based upon a <br /> <br /> <br />50-year period of analysis; <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />77 <br />
