<br />. <br /> <br />-/ <br /> <br />The two drainage channel improvements that would be located <br /> <br /> <br />in the reservoir area of the potential Upper Lowry Dam to improve <br /> <br /> <br />drainage on and upstream from the base are part of the upstream <br /> <br />component of the selected plan. <br /> <br />Drainage improvements upstream from Lowry Air Force Base, <br /> <br /> <br />consisting of construction of a 19-acre detention pond, improve- <br /> <br /> <br />ments in Pond A-B, construction of an improved outlet from the <br /> <br /> <br />pond, and additional storm drains, are also parts of the upstream <br /> <br /> <br />component of the selected plan. <br /> <br />The Selected Plan <br /> <br />PLAN DESCRIPTION <br /> <br />The selected plan would consist of several components to meet <br /> <br /> <br />the five planning objectives. The description of the plan <br /> <br /> <br />components is divided into those components which are part of the <br /> <br /> <br />Federal action, those which are not part of the Federal action <br /> <br /> <br />but are required of non-Federal interests in conjunction with the <br /> <br /> <br />Federal action, and those which are a non-Federal responsibility <br /> <br /> <br />and not required for Federal action. The selected plan is shown <br /> <br /> <br />on plate l. Plan components are described in this section of the <br /> <br /> <br />report.
