GENERAL <br /> <br />7/2/01 <br /> <br />The Contractor shall comply with Article 1.5 of Title 9, CRS ("Excavation Requirements"), when excavation or <br />grading is planned in the area of underground utility facilities. The Contractor shall notify all aflected utilities at <br />least two (2) business days prior to commencing such operations. Contact the Utility Notification Center of <br />Colorado (UNCC) to have locations ofUNCC-registered lines marked by member companies. Call 1-800-922-1987 <br />for locate requests outside the Denver Metro area. All other underground facilities shall belocated by the contacting <br />the respective company. Utility service laterals shall also be located prior to beginning excavation or grading. For <br />locations of CDOT-owned underground facilities, contact the person shown above. <br /> <br />The location of utility facilities, as shown on the plans and profile sheets and described herein, were obtained from <br />the best available information. <br /> <br />All costs incidental to the foregoing requirements will not be paid for separately, but shan be included in the work. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />17 <br />
