The work described in these plans and specifications will require full coordination between the Contractor and the
Utility Companies, in accordance with Subsection 105.06 and while performing their respective operations, so the
utility work can be completed with minimum delays to all parties concerned.

Tbe followinl( utility work sball be performed by tbe Contractor:

The Contractor shall be responsible for coordinating the adjustment of all utilities on this project. The Contractor
shall keep each utility company advised of any work being performed on or near their facilities, so that each utility
company can coordinate any needed inspections, including inspections with the Engineer.

The Contractor shall determine any conflicts with existing utilities. Item 203, Potholing, has been included in the
Contract to assist the Contractor in this effort.

The Contractor sball be responsible for any adjustments necessary to utility lines owned and operated by the City of
Rocky Ford. The Contractor will be reimbursed per Force Account items included in the contract.

The Contractor sball provide written notice to each utility company, with a copy to the Engineer, prior to any work
by a utility company that is to be coordinated with project construction. A minimum of three (3) calendar weeks of
prior notice is required.

If necessary, the Contractor shall provide traffic control for any utility work that is to be coordinated witb the
project's construction, in accordance with an approved Method of Handling Traffic (MHT). Payment to be made via
contract bid item(s).

Tbe followinl( utility work shall be performed by tbe Utility Company or their al(ents:

City of Rocky Ford: Coordinate with the Contractor to determine tbe type and method of any necessary adjustments
to existing water and sanitary sewer lines.

WestPlains Energy: As needed, adjust or relocate existing facilities that conflict witb the project's construction.
Coordinate any such adjustruents or relocations with the Contractor.

Citizens Utilities: As needed, adjust or relocate existing facilities that conflict with the project's construction.
Coordinate any such adjustments or relocations with the Contractor.

CenturyTel of Eagle: As needed, adjust or relocate existing facilities that conflict with the project's construction.
Coordinate any such adjustments or relocations with the Contractor.
