TCB can consider modifying this alignment to accommodate the outfall planning
study or land use needs. Prior to making such modifications, TCn will discuss the potential re-
alignment with the project sponsors.

TCB needs to identify what the flow path is along the south side of 96th A venue or whether the
flow goes under/over 96th A venue and is tributary to the proposed Arsenal North Tributary. In
addition, the proposed location of this tributary needs to be verified, as it appears to be located
north of the low point in the eontours.

The location of the upper part of the Elm tributary needs to be modified from what WWE shows.
The upper part of the Elm has been re-directed into the Arsenal North tributary.

ICON Engineering is evaluating the alignment of the main stem of First Creek between SH 85
and Brighton Road. ICON provided TCB with a drawing showing the proposed alignment.

Alternative Evaluation

A "first cut" of the identification of flood control alternatives for the lower reach of First Creek
was presented by Turner Collie and Braden (TCB). Five possible detention basin locations were
presented that could be used to control peak flows along the main stem of First Creek. The first
potential detention basin presented is downstream of Peoria Street.
