Requirement #3: <br /> <br />The local jurisdiction's floodplain management goals for the area <br />covered by the Plan, <br /> <br />Floodplain management goals will vary depending on the size of the <br />community and the vision of its leaders and citizens. Examples include: <br /> <br />I. Compliance with the National Flood Insurance Program, <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />A, <br /> <br />Enforce the floodplain ordinance adopted June 13. <br />1987. <br />Implement system to monitor floodplain development <br />permits issued to include site visits during development <br />phase, <br />With the issuance of a floodplain development permit, <br />provide informational materials on proper <br />floodproofing etc, and information on how to apply for <br />flood insurance. <br />Schedule 6-month floodplain drive-bys. Ensure that <br />floodplain development permit issued for any new <br />development identified during drive-by, <br />Coordinate with the State Floodplain Coordinator on all <br />no-rise certificates issued. <br />Maintain "good standing" designation after each state <br />and or federal Community Assistance Visit (CA V). <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />C, <br /> <br />D, <br /> <br />E, <br /> <br />F, <br /> <br />II, Construction of city/county facilities. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />A.
