<br />01 SECTION 3. 39-26-106 (1) (a), Colorado Revi3ed Statutes, <br />02 1982 Repl. Vol., as amended, is amended to read: <br />03 39-26-106. Schedule of sales tax. (1) (al There is <br />04 imposed upon all sales of commodities and services specified <br />05 in section 39-26-104 a tax at the rate of three AND <br />06 FOUR-TENTHS percent of the amount of the sale, to be computed <br />07 in accordance with schedules or systems approved by the <br />08 executive director of the department of revenue. Said <br />09 schedules or systems shall be designed so that no such tax is <br />10 charged on any sale of seventeen cents or less. <br />11 SECTION 4. Part 1 of article 26 of title 39, Colorado <br />12 Revised Statutes, 1982 Repl. Vol., as amended, is amended BY <br />13 THE ADDITION OF A NEW SECTION to read: <br />t4 39-26-123.2. Credit of sales and use tax receipts to <br />15 Colorado water resources development fund. An amount equal to <br />16 four-tenths of one percent of the net revenue from ~ales and <br />17 use taxes which otherwise would be credited to the general <br />18 fund shall be credited to the Colorado water resources <br />19 development fund created in section 37-96-101, C.R.S. Such <br />20 transfers shall be made as soon as possible after the <br />21 twentieth day of the month. <br />22 SECTION 5. 39-26-202 (1), Colorado Revised Statutes, <br />23 1982 Repl. Vol., as amended, is amended to read: <br />24 39-26-202. Authorization of tax. (1) There is imposed <br />25 and shall be collected from every person in this state a tax <br />26 or excise at the rate of three AND FOUR-TENTHS percent of <br />27 storage or acquisition charges or costs for the privilege of <br /> <br />-8- <br />
