DISASTER LOANS - Small Business Administration (SBA( (for disasters <br />occurring after December 18. 1981) <br /> <br />Home Loans (physical disaster loan) <br /> <br />-- Loans to individuals for repair. replacement or rehabilitation <br />of dislster-damaged primary residential owner-occupied dwell- <br />ing and personal property. <br /> <br />-- Credit elsewhere test applied to determine interest rate. <br /> <br />-- Interest rate for applicants unable to get credit elsewhere is <br />one half the cost of money to the Federal Government for com- <br />parable length Federal borrowing plus up to one percent at SeA's <br />discretion. not to exceed 8 percent. <br /> <br />-- Interest rate for applicants able to obtain credit elsewhere is <br />set at the cost of money to thelrederal Government plus up to <br />one percent. <br /> <br />-- Refinancing loans are available only to applicants who ~ not <br />get credit elsewhere.
