<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />TABLE 2 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Approximate Floodplain Information Which Has Not Previouslv Been Designated <br /> <br />The White River from the Utah-Colorado slate line npstream to a point approximately 14,350 feet <br />downstream of the crossing of Highways 64 <br /> <br />The White River from a point approximately 41,450 feet uptream of the crossing of Highways 64 <br />upstream to the outlet of Rio Blanco Lake ; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the hydrologic information for the stream reach included in Table I has been <br />derived directly from previously designated detailed floodplain information; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the hydrologic information for the stream reach included in Table 2 has been <br />estimated utilizing detailed hydrologic information contained in previously prepared detailed <br />floodplain information reports and approximate hydrologic information derived through <br />interpolation of the detailed information; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the estimation of 100-year peak flows for the stream reach included in Table <br />2 is described in said new report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board is taking this action under the <br />provisions set forth in 2 CCR 408-1 Ru1e 9.D.2 (Board Initiative) and the City of Craig and <br />Moffat County have been notified of the proposed action and their comments have been <br />considered in this resolution; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Town of Rangely has not requested the Colorado Water Conservation <br />board to rescind any of the detailed information contained in Resolution No, 307; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(l)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, requires the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board to assist in the prevention of floods and flood damages therefrom; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sections 31-23-301 and 30-28-111, Colorado Revised Statutes, provide that <br />legislative bodies of local jurisdictions may provide zoning regulations for land uses on or along <br />any storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only after designation and approval by the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, directs the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board to designate and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or <br />basins and to make such designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the information in said new report for the stream reaches listed in Tables I <br />and 2 meets all of the requirements for approximate information listed under the Board's "Rules <br />and Regu1ations for the Designation and Approval of Floodplains and of Storm or Floodwater <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />3 <br />
