<br />1/91 <br /> <br />Colorado Emergency Operations Plan <br />SEOP - Part 1 (Basic Plan) <br /> <br />DODES 24 Hour Emergency <br />Telephone # 279-8855 <br /> <br />(8) Implement In-place shelter or <br />relocation plans for Inmates and <br />stall personnel as necessary. <br /> <br />9) Implement plans to provide the In- <br />dustrial capability of the Department <br />to assist In state agency manpower <br />requirements. <br /> <br />4, Emergency Resource Management Systems <br />Agency responsibilities to be developed on <br />the basis of the existing Colorado Emergen- <br />cy Resource Management Plan (Sept. <br />1966) and upon Issuance of national pro- <br />gram guidance. <br /> <br />I COORDINATION RESPONSIBILmEs I <br /> <br />1. Upon request of DODES, provide <br />departmental action officers for the State <br />EOC, FCC and other state command and <br />control facilities that may be designated, <br /> <br />2, Inform and verify for DODES (SEOC, when <br />activated) disaster emergency problems re- <br />lated to the state's correctional system, (to <br />Indude those problems of specific <br />facilities); take action as appropriate. <br /> <br />3. Validate and aggregate damage assess- <br />ment data In coordination with other <br />federal, state and local agencies or correc- <br />tional facilities, Provide Inspectors for both <br />assessment and damage survey proce- <br /> <br />dures for disaster Impacted correctional <br />facilities. <br /> <br />4. Provide periodical disaster reports concem- <br />Ing the corrections system to <br />DODES/SEOC. <br /> <br />5. Provide for continuity of leadership and <br />operations, Establish a line of succession <br />for each key position within the department/ <br />agency and Its subordinate elements to en- <br />sure that the department! agency can con- <br />tinue to perform Its essential activities. <br />Identify all records and other documents <br />vital to continuity of operations, Establish a <br />method to preserve same by copying, <br />microfiche, or other means for safekeeping <br />at an alternate location. Develop a plan to <br />relocate all essential elements of the depart- <br />ment/agency In event of a major natural or <br />man-made disaster, Be prepared to move <br />staff and critical documents to a different <br />base(s) of operations as designated by the <br />Governor, Be prepared to conduct opera- <br />tions for an extended period at the alternate <br />location. <br /> <br />6.
