Validate and aggregate damage assess- <br />ment data (In coordination with State and <br />County Emergency Boards) on crops, live- <br />stock, agricultural facilities, food and <br />foodstuffs and food production and <br />manufacturing facilities. Provide a sum- <br />mary of the damages and agricultural con- <br />ditions to DODES (SEOC when activated). <br /> <br />6. Provide periodic agricultural status reports <br />to DODES/SEOC, <br /> <br />7. Provide for continuity of leadership and <br />operations. Establish a line of succession <br />for each key position within the department/ <br />agency and Its subordinate elements to en- <br />sure that the departmenti agency can con- <br />tinue to perform Its essential activities. <br /> <br />Identify all records and other documents <br />vital to continuity of operations, Establish a <br />method to preserve same by copying, <br />microfiche, or other means for safekeeping <br />at an alternate location. Develop a plan to <br />relocate all essential elements of the depart- <br />ment/agency In event of a rnaJor natural or <br />man-made disaster. Be prepared to move <br />staff and critical documents to a different <br />base (s) of operations as designated by the <br />Governor, Be prepared to conduct opera- <br />tions for an extended period at the alternate <br />location. <br /> <br />8.
